We are now the proud owners of a 1973 Airstream Land Yacht International Overlander!!!! That's 27 feet of silver glory!

We feel very fortunate to get one in such great shape from our new friend Justin, who just bought Lulu up from California and discovered there were no long term campgrounds with any space in the Portland area. 

Lulu... or Lucy.... I'm trying on some new names for size as apparently all Airstreams have girl names and she didn't come with one! I think I have Lucy stuck in my head as I recently watched the Lucille Ball movie the Long Long Trailer* - which was very funny and just about put my husband off the idea of getting a trailer at all! 

Lulu is in very original shape but in good original shape. 

In this blog I'm going to set out our airstream adventures - including restoring, fixing, and hopefully in the near future,  airstream glamping available at our lavender farm. But good things take time... right?
